As we celebrate our 8th anniversary we looked to our founders, Mark Boonnark and Andrew Kim, and asked them about how Healthy Spot came about.  Between helping to run the day-to-day operations at Healthy Spot HQ and overseeing the opening of our 8th Healthy Spot in Manhattan Beach next month, we were able to get them to sit, stay and answer some questions about how they came to start Healthy Spot.

You may have heard about the recent outbreak of a new type of dog flu affecting pets across the country. This highly contagious and, in some cases, potentially serious respiratory infection is called canine influenza virus H3N2, or CIV H3N2 for short. This flu is similar to another strain, H3N8, that has already affected dogs throughout the country.
