Meet Brando, this weeks featured adoptable dog! A volunteer at The Rescue Train found one year old Brando wandering around "on the waterfront" (hence the name :-) and thought it best to “apocalypse now” the scurrying and scampering pup and avoid “the chase”!
Because Brando was on the street at such a young age, we feel that he never got the chance to be a puppy as he was struggling to survive. He is now getting that chance – playing with toys and showing an adventurous spirit.
He LOVES other dogs – he plays very well with both a Chihuahua and a Doberman in his foster home. For that reason, we believe Brando would do best placed in a home with a dog friend. He needs a young energetic dog that is ready and willing to play with him and be his best pal. Brando is also a loving, cuddly, sweet boy looking for you -- his snuggle partner.
Brando is a Westie / White Terrier and Boarder Collie mix. He has a beautiful white coat with some hints of tan, yellow and fawn. He is right around one year old and has all the energy that you would expect from a dog his age. He is very small, coming in at 25 lbs, which is perfect for any modest Los Angeles area apartment.
You can meet Brando and other adoptable dogs at Healthy Spot Studio City this Sunday 2/28. We will also be holding adoptions at our Long Beach, Santa Monica and Topanga locations this Sunday 2/28! Full list of dog adoptions here
