You can expect tons of cute pups romping and rolling on the sand and in the water. But there are some sightings that you just can’t miss. We’ve partnered with our friends at So Cal Corgi Nation to compile a list of 7 things you are guaranteed to see at the upcoming beach day!

1. Corgi Fanatics

They come from near and far, some even flying in, to hang out in Surf City, USA as over 600 Corgis invade the beach. The sight of momos (Corgi butts) waddling across the sand is too adorable not to smile at.

2. Dressed Up Corgis

It doesn’t have to be Halloween to have an excuse to dress up your pup and Corgi lovers know that. Which is why you’ll see dozens of Corgis in costume roaming around looking like bananas, horses, and sharks.

3. Hawaiian Print 

It’s Tiki themed! Which means you’ll be seeing a lot of Aloha on the beach as Corgis run around wearing Hawaiian shirts. Nothing like a luau with a bunch of furry friends to entertain you.

While the event started as a way to bring Corgi enthusiasts together, it’s grown into something much larger and what better way to grow than to help others along the way? This Corgi Beach Day mission is to bring awareness to Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue and raise funds for Corgis in need. QBSDR saves special needs Corgis, senior Corgis, and Corgi mixes from high-kill shelters and helps them find their forever home.
