Strut Your Mutt Los Angeles Helps Raise Over $600k For Homeless Pets

Sometimes, you can’t just walk your dog, you got to let’em strut their stuff. And why not help save a few of their fellow furry brethren while doing so? That’s what Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt events are all about. The annual dog walk, fun run and pet festival drew over 2,100 strutters to Will Rogers State Historic Park with aims to raise money to save the lives of homeless dogs and cats in major cities across the US. We got to lend a helping paw by sponsoring the Los Angeles Strut Your Mutt event where we were excited to see plenty of familiar faces, both of the dog and human variety, as the event went on to raise over $600,000. The proceeds went to No Kill LA, a Best Friends Animal Society initiative dedicated to making Los Angeles a no-kill city when it comes to policies regarding homeless pets. Best Friends Animal Society believes that every homeless dog and cat can find a forever home and deserves the same companionship as pets with owners. We're proud to be supporting Best Friends Animal Society to place homeless pets in good, healthy homes and together, with your help, we’re working to save them all.
