We’ve Donated 100k To Charity Through Our “Round Up” Program

Healthy Spot family, THANK YOU! You have singlehandedly helped us raise $100,000 for charity. We launched our “Round Up” program on Healthy Spot’s very first day of business. This program offers our customers the convenient opportunity to round up their purchase totals (even by a penny) at the point of sale - and all of the proceeds go directly to charity. On a daily basis, over half of all customers say yes to rounding up. Because of that, over dozens of charities and pets have felt YOUR generosity. Where does the money go? Every month, Healthy Spot partners with a charity and we work together to make the lives of animals better. Our partnerships have included Operation Blankets of Love, Bill Foundation, NKLA, Best Friends, Labs and Friends, Wags and Walks, LA Love and Leashes, and Rescue Train. Most of the organizations we collaborate with rescue dogs and cats from high-kill shelters around the greater LA area and work to vaccinate, spay or neuter, and rehabilitate animals so they can find their forever homes. What does the money do? Many of our partner charities use the donated funds to directly support a dog or cat in need. Often times, the money raised goes to help a dog or cat that needs surgery, or to cover the cost of vet bills for necessary vaccines. Operation Blankets of Love is a unique group that collects donations such as beds, blankets, toys, and food to donate to shelters and rescue groups around the country. Thanks to our loyal and like-minded customers, pets all over the country are living longer, healthier, and happier lives. As we continue to grow, so will our “Round Up” program. Your support has reinforced our belief in giving back. Today, we are more motivated than ever to raise money and find amazing organizations that are on the front lines when it comes to saving animals’ lives. From the bottom of our hearts, and on behalf of our partners, we say congratulations and thank you! Without you, this $100,000 milestone would not be possible. If you would like to learn more about any of our partnered charities, or about our “Round Up” program, feel free to stop in or give us a call. For all interested charitable organizations, please email us for an application, which includes need, size of the group, dogs/cats under their care, where the funds will be used, and your 501c3 status.
