Pet-Friendly Stops In Pasadena

Pet-Friendly Stops In Pasadena

Oct 28, 2019Andrew Kim

Our newest community is filled with amazing shops and restaurants and after exploring the neighborhood over the past few weeks, we wanted to share our favorite local pet-friendly food and drink SPOTS in Pasadena! We can’t stop wagging our tails in excitement for our new store in Pasadena! Make sure you RSVP for our Grand Opening Pawty here!

Before we kick off our list of favorite places to sip and snack, we have to start with Rosie’s Dog Park! An adorable dog park broken out between small and big pups to frolic and play, while you're building up an appetite! On any given day throughout November, you can find us at Rosie’s Dog Park dressed in green. Come by to play and socialize your pup and receive a few goodies from us! Play some fetch and tire out your furry friend before hitting our favorite restaurants, coffee stops and bars to gain back your energy!

Urth Caffé

594 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91101

@thedognamedbean @misterbogey

A Los Angeles favorite, Urth Caffé is known for their organic Instagrammable drinks, tasty paninis and glass lighting. Their outdoor patio is pawfect for your pup, designed by plants and greenery making the walls attractive with a pop. Their menu is top notch, offering all-day brunch options and chicken paninis (our favorites)!

Food recommendation: The Urth Salad- their unique take on the classic Greek salad will fill you up accompanied by their smooth Urth vinaigrette dressing.  Bring your portable water bowl for your pup to sip alongside!

Congregation Ale House

300 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105

@aquacorg @hamlet_the_piggy

Known for their cathedral-like interior, Congregation Ale House has a spacious outdoor patio with a huge selection of unique beers. Feel free to ask for recommendations and enjoy a cold one on us November 7th at our first Yappy Hour in Pasadena! You can RSVP on our Eventbrite here!

Beer recommendation: Crimson Redentor- an Amer red ale. It has a dark ruby color due to the Blackprinz malt. Throwing in a side of sweet potato fries couldn’t hurt!  Bring your own bone broth and make your pup a puptail to join in on the fun.

Intelligentsia Coffee

55 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105

@aprettypenny_lane

Specializing in pour-over coffee sourced from professionals, Intelligentsia is a pet standout with their large outdoor areas! They change their coffee selection based on seasonal growth and current findings, so you can find something new each visit.

Coffee recommendation: Avena Latte- specific to the Fall season, this latte is not only Instagrammable, but rich with flavors.

Blaze Pizza

667 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91101

@adventures.apollo

Make your own pizza! The salad bar of pizza allows for you to have a countless number of topping options. Waiting for your pizza has never been quicker as they cook it in front of you! They also have unique iced teas to try. Their outdoor patio is huge, giving your pup tons of space to sit under a shady umbrella.

Pizza recommendation: Build your own! Healthy Spot is divided between pineapple lovers and haters, but pairing this sweet fruit with any or all of their 8 protein toppings is key.

Zona Rosa Coffee

15 S El Molino Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101

@dai.the.shihtzu

The cutest little coffee shop if you want that one on one experience with your barista. Their outdoor seating is ideal for your pet to watch you sip your creamy espresso. They also have amazing neighborhood recommendations on their own wall inside the store!

Coffee recommendation: Dirty Chai- An essential for a cold day, and full of flavor!

True Food Kitchen

168 W Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105

@dai.the.shihtzu

A great stop for easy healthy eating. Based on their philosophy that food should make you feel better, not worse, we tested the theory. It is accurate. We were ready to conquer the world with their nutritious menu options! Just like our pets, we have to be conscious about what we eat.

Food recommendation: Ancient Grains Bowl- the easiest way to get your veggies in for the day. Consisting of grilled portobellos, avocados, hemp seeds and much more!

Our newest addition to the Healthy Spot family of stores is almost open and we are so excited to celebrate with you and your pets! Spend an afternoon in Pasadena at any of these recommendations after stopping by our store to grab a treat for your furry friend!
