This month, our Round Up For Rescues program is helping support L.A. Love & Leashes. Round Up your purchases to the nearest dollar at the register and we’ll donate the difference to help support pets in need.
What Happens When You Round Up?
Every month we partner with a local rescue charity to help raise money to support their cause. The rounded up portion of your purchase goes to helping pets in need. In 2015 we raised over $37,000 for 12 different charities all thanks to Round Up For Rescues. The funds raised went to support a variety of animal welfare needs including adoptions, spay and neutering services for low income families, supporting wolf sanctuaries, and donating items like blankets, food and beds to shelters.
L.A. Love & Leashes
In 2015 we opened our first in-store adoption center by partnering up with L.A. Love & Leashes at our newly expanded Santa Monica location. Healthy Spot has worked closely with L.A Love & Leashes since their inception back in 2011 and has helped them with their mission of saving shelter animals. Created by the non-profit Best Friends of L.A. Animal Shelters, L.A. Love & Leashes is an adoption space that is 100% dedicated to animals from Los Angeles’ six city animal shelters.
