A Notice to Primal Feline Customers:

Posted on Mar 12, 2015 , 0 comments

We have just been informed that Primal Pet Foods will be issuing a limited recall tomorrow on a specific batch of Feline Turkey 3lb Raw Food Nuggets that was produced in June 2014. This specific batch of product that is being voluntarily recalled is due to the potential of insufficient Thiamine levels. The recalled lot is 060815 B22. No other lots of food are currently affected by this recall and we do not have any of this product in our stores. If you are, or know any consumer, in possession of food from this lot, please dispose or return the food to our stores. If this was purchased at any of our locations, we will replace, exchange or refund the product for you. We want you to have full confidence of any and all food purchased at our stores. We stand behind our products. We have spoken directly with Matt Koss, the owner of Primal, to do our own research into the recall. We will continue to be proactive to gather any additional information through this process. We ensure you that we will update you with any new information. At Healthy Spot, we are here to partner with you as pet parents, not the manufacturers, to inspire a healthy pet lifestyle. Recalls are never a good thing and our goal is to be open and transparent with our findings through this process. Attached please find the letter from Primal for further details. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. Best Regards, Andrew Kim Founder & CEO Healthy Spot A letter from Primal: Thiamin Statement
